Most Dearest Darlings,
HAPPY NOVEMBER! Exqueeze me, happy NOVEM-PURR! 🐈
An exhaustive search conducted by our marketing team revealed that PEOPLE LIKE CATS. Not ALL people, but MANY. And it’s an audience we’ve never FULLY pandered to! Until NOW!
So, cat lovers, eat your heart out all month long. And by “eat your heart out,” basically we mean, take a moment of joy from this adorable poster Designer Dan™ whipped up, and let your soul nibble the kibbles of enchantertainment we’re serving up in the Fancy Feast cup that is our stage. MEOW!
Today has the distinction of being JAMIE FLAM, Dynasty Proprietor’s, 50th BIRTHDAY! Age ain’t nothing but a number, and that number is 50. WOW!
We celebrated yesterday with a party at the theater that was part hostage situation, part hostage celebration, as Jamie gathered his nearest and dearest and invited us to take a joyride down memory lane. It was a beautiful night complete with puppets and kids and food and music and love love love. It’s so annoying/embarrassing/basic but… LOVE really is the whole damn thing. ❤️
Speaking of love, DON’T FORGET TO VOTE. INFORMED VOTING is my love language! (← New shirt idea.)
We have a really bonkers start to Novem-Purr this week at Dynasty, with MASSIVEstars of screen and stage and the World Wide Web! (P.S. Sorry, Pitbull, but the net was the original Mr. Worldwide!)
Claws, 🐾
VanJam
PS: Tomorrow we leave for Berlin, Prague, and Vienna next month for a few days! ✈️ Got any tips for especially enchanting things two LA-based theater proprietors should check out while we’re there??
