If you're in the know (and if you read these emails from your neighborhood arts and variety venue and popcorn restaurant 🍿, YOU ARE! 😎), then you are well aware that this is the final full week in the Chinese Zodiac's YEAR OF THE WOOD SNAKE 🪵🐍.And oh, what a year it has been for us! In its mystical, if sometimes uncomfortable way, this snakey snake of a timehas been begging us to shed all our scaly skin (it's a metaphor, people!) so that we can step into the next, most powerful and creative phase of our lives. And while there's still a week to go, we can see the thin, fragile, translucent, papery skin of the past slinking off of us (still a metaphor!), and turning into strong, virile, tapering horse limbs that... echo the cadence of the wind (no longer a metaphor). Yes, we are embracing the fact that as we enter the new Chinese year, we are both becoming FIRE HORSES ❤️🔥🐴.

That's right, this week at Dynasty we have TWO invitations for you to step into your radiance. First, join us this THURSDAY to joyously say FUCK ICE, as we host a benefit show with an incredible line-up to raise money for The Immigrant Rapid Response Fund! It will be live and livestreamed, and as part of the show we will be leading a ceremony to release all the things (in the world, in our head, existential or otherwise) that might be weighing us down, so that we can show up for ourselves and others at a time in history where it seems to be needed more than ever.
