Basic Etiquette Lessons with Sludgy!

Darlings,

Happy second week of 🔥🐴✨The Fire Horse! 🔥🐴✨THE FIRE HORSE: The lunar new year where, according to no less than eleven highly influential astrology influencers, everything shifts; a time where we all collectively evolve into the most powerful versions of ourselves with the potential of uplifting all of humanitySo cool! ‘Round these parts we're continuing to embrace our new horse forms, savoring our long, slender legs, our muscular backs, and our wide, protective chests; our new bodies a cathedral of sinew and breath; our flanks rippling like silk pulled tight over a secret. And all sorts of other stuff like that. This is how we are all feeling right now, correct? Like we are literal horses? Great! Glad to be on the same page! If for any reason you are not tapping into a horse transformation energy right now, we don't judge that. But we are curious to know what animal(s) you are embodying right now and how that makes you feel. Best description gets a free DynaPop on their next visit to Dynasty!

Lots of magical shows coming up at Dynasty this week, you can scroll below to see what they are and we hope you attend them all! But first....

A Message from Sludgy the Bear (Our Theater's Plumbassador)

Hi, I'm Sludgy.

You may have seen me on a poster in one of Dynasty's three gorgeous lobby bathrooms, reminding you of things like to not take big dumps(save those for your own home, if you can help it) and to not pee in our sinks. To be fair, no one has ever peed in one of our sinks to our knowledge, but best to get ahead of these things. Or maybe you've seen one of my "shignature" Shit Kits for sale in the Dynasty lobby. It's like a First Aid Kit, but for bathroom needs should you ever need to shit deep in a forest. It's a cute, well executed merch concept that we've been selling for a couple years now, and this may be the first time it's everbeen marketed. Now THAT'S The Dynasty Difference!™  Or maybe you've seen me giving life advice on one of the Dynasty Tonight! or Guano Guano shows here over the past year. In any case, I hope this finds you in a joyous place. I just had a few etiquette related things I wanted to get off my chest about how to act in the world. Things that seem so obvious, but, well, I guess they aren't. Let's dive in. 🤿

Sludgy's Etiquette Tips for Today

1. Left hand turns when you are driving: When the light turns green you roll your car up to the middle of the intersection so that the cars behind you can also make a left hand turn. And you can roll up all at once! Now that you know, not doing this moving forward is selfish

2. On that same note, when you are in your car at a stoplight... CLOSE THE GAP. That is, you don't need 1-4 car length between you and the car in front of you. A couple feet will do! And ensure that other people can get to where they want to too. Now that you know, not doing this moving forward is selfish.

3.  Maybe I'm just cranky because I didn't get a lot sleep last night because a bunch of drunk gophers were being loud outside and not being mindful of their volume well past 10pm on a weeknight, but like, don't be so loud. Like, speak your mind, be fully expressed, and all that, of course! But as a general rule, keep your mouth volume down if you're not like, performing on a stage or something.

4. Dynasty is very proud of our 4.8 out of 5 rating on Google Reviews. But every once in a while we get less than 5 stars with no explanation. How are we supposed to know how we can improve as an organization and/or how to best judge your unreasonable expectations if you don't give us feedback?! This is directed right at someone whose name rhymes with Smellin’ Bacon. It actually only rhymes with one of those words and IS the other one. Smellin’, you’re a “LOCAL GUIDE.” Can’t ya muster up a few words to help us improve our service? Or is this another one those classic Local Guide mind games? Call me Old Fashioned (the drink), but in my day a title MEANT something and one of those things was the ability to construct helpful sentences to express ideas

Need clarification on any of these things? Hit me up! I'll happily explain in more detail.

Stay sludgin',

Sludgy

Thanks Sludgy! We totally relate! Everyone, heed these words! And come visit us soon!!

Love,

VanJam
