It’s Monday. And with Mondays often there comes a… weight. You know it: the heft of a new week pressing upon you; the necessary, but generally humorless errands and responsibilities; the self assigned pressures to finally "be productive" and/or "figure everything out." What even is productive?! Well, we urge you to to take this Monday weight and SHAKE IT! (Remember shake weights? Like what even were those? lol!) How and what to shake? How about shaking some humor into the banal?! Jiggle a giggle into your traffic woes! (Don't have any? Tell us your secrets!), And get flarpin’ sexy with your grocery shopping. Looking at you, international aisle. To our current knowledge, we get this one particular life on earth, so we might as well not, like, dread stuff. And if we DO dread stuff, or replay moments that didn’t go perfectly, maybe we should all take a moment to remind ourselves “This is so stupid, I get this one life. I do not need the approval of that check out person at Gelson's, who no doubt is trapped in a mental whirligig of their own design. I only need my OWN approval. But also would it effing kill them to crack a smile during our interaction that I am genuinely trying to make pleasant?! Especially given that everything at this supermarket is crazy overpriced! But this is the the only place I know of that has this squeezable, versatile bottle of Tahini!” Seriously. We can't imagine owning a business and not making sure all the employees weren't over the top kind, even if they are trapped in a mental whirligig. Any way, as they say… let go and let Todd. Whoever he is!
