Hey there gorgeous lil’ sweeties. Happy Monday to everyone except the cat Garfield (don’t know if we used that joke structure correctly but it works FOR US.) Hope you’re all fulfilled and tank-filled from the weekend. Dear reader, the writers of this email are largely NOT fulfilled from this weekend which was overcast and MUDDY MUDDY MUDDY. But, there were some shining jewels, despite the suns refusal to beam them. Jewels including: an amazing two person improv show from LAUREN LAPKUS and MARY HOLLAND, which you can still stream and enjoy here! Bonus for watching NOW as opposed to waiting til it’s in the video vault, you’ll get to see one of our 🥵 dreamy Technical Navigators on a LADDER addressing LIGHTING ISSUE. And ultimately SOLVING THAT ISSUE. OTHER venues wouldn’t be so TRANSPARENT about things like these. They’d try to hide any perceived “imperfections” instead of CELEBRATING hot ladder footage and opportunities for growth. Yeah, that’s a DynastyFlex™ And THAT’S the Dynasty Difference.™ Another jewel o’ the weekend was certainly Saturday’s Dynasty Tonight! We had a lil’ surprise drop in from one Mr. JOHN MULANEY! Don’t know if you’ve heard about that young man but he’s dapper and can sling a joke reallll good. Also on Dynasty Tonight!: we tried out our (old) new proprietary Dynasty birthday song! A song that was passed down in the Dynasty family and Dynasty’s various businesses for CENTURIES that we have now finally brought our staff up to speed on. On Saturday we serenaded new-friend, b-day boy Kevin in the audience, and we think it’s safe to say… HE LOVED IT. Do you want to spend your birthday at a Dynasty Tonight!? 🍿 3/5, TUESDAY, 7:30PM: The Benson Movie Interruption: Your Choice is a show where DOUG BENSON (SUPER HIGH ME, @midnight) invites some of his comedy friends to sit in the front row of the theater with mics, cracking wise during a screening of a movie that YOU choose. That’s right, audience members are encouraged to bring a dvd/blu ray of a film they would like to see ripped apart (lovingly) and a vote will be held to determine which one we watch.
