If you’re scrapbooking COVID-19 correspondences from this singular and exceptional chapter of humanity’s history, file this one under D for Dynasty or W for Woof! What a TIME.
As a smaller (195 seat) venue, we’re not experiencing the fear of large groups/ loss of control to the degree many other venues might. The safety of our guests, talent, and staff are always our top priority, and to that end we wanted to share the specific measures we’re implementing to keep everyone healthy and in a safe environment at Dynasty
Until more specific measures are proposed by local and state officials, we will continue with our regularly scheduled performances and special events while following all the common-sense guidelines to lower the risk of exposure to cold, flu, or COVID-19.
After and between shows, Lysol wipes are being used to clean all seats, arm rests, counters, and doorknobs.
We are requiring all staff members to wash their hands frequently with soap and hot water for at least 21 seconds. Yes, 21. That’s the Dynasty difference.
No touch entry. Give your name at the door and you’ll be digitally checked in, no printed tickets required, no exchange of ID necessary.
Touch-free checkout. We will encourage all guests who are able to swipe their own card at the checkout.
To limit unnecessary hand swappin’, we’re going CASH FREE.
Alcohol (isopropyl) based hand sanitizer is being made available for all.
Our microphones and tech equipment are all being cleaned after and between shows with a premium electrical sanitizer.
Any staff member feeling even remotely under the weather will have their shift covered.
You can:
Of course, we know you know this, but it feels irresponsible not to expressly state: Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands frequently. (Don’t panic about the lack of hand sanitizer in your local post-apocalyptic grocery store, ust use soap and hot water! Killin’ germs is soap’s whole thang!) Cover your nose and mouth vampire style (with our elbow) if you have to sneeze or cough.
Please stay home if you are sick or have any cold or flu like symptoms. Remember, there’s no place like home during a pandemic! We hate missing out on the fun as much as you do, but please be responsible.
Stay informed. The CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO) are updating their sites with the latest information.
Stay positive.
