She came to an end very sweetly for us. Saturday night’s DYNASTY TONIGHT! was a perfect blend of laughter, surprise, and heartfelt goodbyes. We were blessed with the brilliance of ATSUKO OKATSUKA (watch her new special FATHER on Hulu right now!) and interdimensional talent wielder REGGIE WATTS (catch WATTS WHAT HAPPENS LIVE at Dynasty on July 23rd). MO WELCH killed and, 🤩 SECRET GUEST BRETT GOLDSTEIN dropped by to delight us all. ✨ And we had another surprise that came from the depths of the Dynasty Wylds… SLUDGY. Yes, our beloved plumbassador took the stage (in a custom puppet theater built by none other than GM Missy herself) to deliver a Royal Flush Rite of Passage™ farewell to MISSY, who has been our General Manager, chaos calmer, and champion of All Things Dynasty for almost three years. She’s off to new creative adventures as an independent artist and we’re SO excited for her. We’ll let you know where you can find her creations! 🌺 Missy leaving, Sludgy arriving! So many feelings felt in all directions.

Speaking of experiments (you can file this right under STUPID experiments) this very morning, VAN allowed her children to cover her face in mini suction-cup plungers “for fun.” That was very stupid. And now her face has little crop circle bruise polkadots that the internet expects will last over a week. Cupping, but make it useless. Remember when Gwyneth Paltrow turned heads years ago proudly displaying her cupping bruises in a chic evening dress? It’s absolutely nothing like that!
Other venues wouldn't share something like this. But we do. And That’s The Dynasty Difference!™

PS - For everyone champing at the bit to know: With early in the day projections, it looks like JAM is going to end the month averaging around 15,322 steps per day, eclipsing last month's 15,168. That's good and not even a little obsessive! JAM also just learned that "champing at the bit" comes from "the behavior of horses when they are excited or impatient, often gnawing or grinding their teeth on the metal bit in their bridle." Also, while "champing" is the original and arguably more precise term, "chomping" is now widely accepted as a variation. But we use "champing" here at Dynasty because we... cherish precision.
