Exclusive: How to shapeshift from a snake to a horse!
Dear Dynasty Darlings,
'Tis Monday the 12th of January, so now the year may *officially* begin, ✨vibrationally speaking ✨. Some confident people claim it's the 1st of January that a year begins, ✨vibe wise ✨. Other brazen folks assert that it's the first Monday of the year when ✨ a human frequency aligns with it's higher good
✨. But here at Dynasty, we firmly believe in easing into a year, letting energy percolate, settling into things, and as such today feels like a good day to claim personal agency over 2026. So if, like us, you've continued: eating lots of 🍪🍦🍕/ignoring the unavoidable yoga mat you placed right in front of your desk to ensure you exercise🧘🏼🧘🏼♀️/neglected to lean into the very reasonable goal of 20 minutes of creativity a day... don't worry, you can start being the bold the new you, RIGHT NOW!
Still not feeling the timing is great to lean into healthier choices? Incredible news: The Chinese Zodiac (a very reputable Zodiac) doesn't start until February 17th! That's right! We're still very much in The Year of the Wood Snake 🪵🐍! So you've got plenty of time to continue to shed the weight of expectations or anything else holding you back! The Fire Horse 🔥🐴 doesn't begin her mighty gallop for over a month. This is your 💚 green light 💚 to embrace unhealthy choices for 36 more days!* Pressure released! And THAT'S The Dynasty Difference!™
We’ve got a lovely week of events at Dynasty coming up. THIS FRIDAY, We're especially looking forward to a tribute to Rob Reiner with a very special screening of The Princess Bride, hosted by Amy Nicholson of UnSpooled. We have been heartbroken by the loss of the Reiners, and have been reflecting on the legacy and the immeasurable impact of Rob Reiner’s work. Dynasty surely wouldn't be Dynasty without his great influence. When deciding how we wanted to honor his legacy, we landed on this screening of 👑⚔️💋 The Princess Bride, a story within a story- absurd fairy tale meeting earnest emotion. Swords, giant rodents, true love, missing fingers, enchanting forests, farting giants. A perfect puzzle of misfit characters that somehow makes us believe again. Proceeds benefit Everychild Foundation, in recognition of Rob Reiner’s advocacy for early childhood education.
🍪 ✍🏼 ✨ 👑,
VanJam
*Alternatively, you can also start making healthy choices now too! Life doesn’t exist in a binary as it turns out, and living a life with some semblance of moderation might just be be healthier than the claaaaassiiiic all-or-nothing approach that seems to plague us every year. Anyway, it’s your life and as long as you are kind to yourself and others, we support you doing whatever you want to do.
Isn't it funny that we're a venue? 😹
