Hello beauuuutiful Darlings!
This is the last newsie of January! It’s been scientifically proven that though the first 12 days of January fly by at wild speed, the remainder of the month actually becomes 3,912 days, and we hate to see her leave but we looooove to watch her and all her unrealistically high expectations go. And for us she’s going out with THREE *SOLD OUT* Dina Martina shows that we, as a collective, are flarpin’ HOT and BOTHERED for. (FYI, usually one says that one is hot and bothered BY something, but we are hot and bothered FOR this. We ran this by a Grammarian who CONFIRMED our use of the English language is both masterful and “unexpected.” Wow. Accolades like that? At the beginning of a week? Yeah… it’s gonna be a good one. )
We had a bonkers week last week, with tapings and/or livestreams every ding-dang day, a killer Dynasty Tonight! and so much more activity that really lived up to our GOMO™ Guarantee (Guarantee Of Missing Out Guarantee™) .
We now invite you to never have GOMO by simply attending all the shows all the time. It’s that easy! “But what about sold-out shows?” you say. “But what if I’m not local and you’re not live-streaming it” you protest. “But what if it is court mandated that I am never within 100 feet of a venue supplying corn?” you scream through tears. Well, great points. Sometimes even the best of us get the worst of GOMO. But do what you can, when you can, and you’ll be doin’ more than most. Anyway!
In the tradition of trying to ease at least SOME of the population’s GOMO, we’re continuing the thing where we offer (a limited amount) of free tickets for this week’s Dynasty Tonight! to folks who’ve never attended! All you have to do is email us and we’ll put you on the list. The last couple of weeks it’s been such a pleasure to get to host new faces in the crowd!

MONDAY, 7:30PM: THE GEORGE LUCAS TALK SHOW A show for Star Wars fans and non-fans alike returns to Dynasty Typewriter! Comedian Connor Ratliff (“Dead Eyes”, “The Marvelous Mrs Maisel”) appears as George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, and interviews guests like a “normal talk show”. He is joined by sidekick Watto, played by Griffin Newman (“Blank Check”, “The Tick”), and show producer Patrick Cotnoir. The show has been running since 2014 and was a regular show at the UCB Theatre in New York City for years. It has been streaming on Twitch since 2020.
